The Nike Air Rift was originally introduced in an effort to create a running shoe that felt as much like running barefoot as possible. That being said, it’s no surprise to see Nike update it with Free Technology.Free Technology, of course, is all about natural range of motion – a key component to the “barefoot” running feel. The Nike Free Rift is the perfect marriage of minimalistic design and free range of motion. While this extremely minimal approach to a running sneaker is not for everyone the look of the sneaker may appeal to many as a Summer time option.Look for the Nike Free Rift to hit retailers this Spring. What do you think of the update? Is it a sneaker you would run in? Maybe wear casually on the boardwalk this Summer?
