The Nike Dunk High keeps things simple for these latest releases. Very simple actually, with clean white leather uppers and minimal accenting for only the Swooshes, tongue tags, and outsoles for an understated two-tone presentation. The accents come in your pick of Gym Red or Black, making for two throwback team look, comparable to the original Be True To Your School editions from 1985. If you like your Nikes clean and simple, be on the lookout for these two new Dunks soon at select retailers and Nike.
Continuing its run of non-OG colorways that look like they could have been released in 1985, the Nike Dunk High gets another new look in the classic two-tone color block made iconic by the Be True To Your School collection. The timeless Dunk look arrives now in a simple black and white color combination, which should definitely have any Air Jordan fan thinking of the OG black and white Air Jordan 1, as it looks almost identical. Maybe these are a good substitute for anybody that missed the Air Jordan 1’s in 2014? Expect the black and white Dunk High to hit select Nike Sportswear retailers in the US andNike.com soon. They’re also available right now at Foot Patrol.
In late 2015, we reported on a potential Supreme x Nike collaboration that was discovered by a customer who fortuitously was inside the store when the shop employees received a shipment from Nike. That customer noted that the boxes were definitely shipments from Nike, and inside the boxes were red Sportswear boxes (the same used in recent releases), and the shoes appeared to be high-top Dunks with red leather uppers. Since that initial report, photos of this mysterious shoe never surfaced – until now.
