Air3 Max upright

The modernized Nike Air Max BW is ready to take over this spring season with a number of clean colorways, and it doesn’t get much cleaner than the now-classic “Cool Grey” scheme we see here. The updated and retooled Air Max BW Ultra receives the Cool Grey and white pairing across the uppers, with reflective silver hiding underneath the perforations on the heel panel to add just a bit of flash to the clean and neutral look. One of the debut looks for the Air Max BW Ultra, this “Cool Grey” colorway releases Thursday, March 3rd at Nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers.

The Nike Air Classic BW is often forgotten about in the classic lineage of visible air-wielding Swoosh models, but come on, Classic is right in the name there. NSW brought the 1991 silhouette back not too long ago in the OG “Persian Violet” aesthetic, then interrupting the new-school Breathe tooling that was popular at the time. Now with all of the lifestyle obsession going on in the sneaker industry – people are readily shelling out $400 at retail for premium leather renditions of their favorite silhouettes – the Air Classic BW is back mirroring that trend. Here a monochromatic black leather base is accented by micro perforations on the heel, a white midsole, and Bright Crimson air max unit for a slight adjustment of vibrancy. Check out more photos below and know that this Nike Sportswear retro will be hitting U.S. retailers later this spring.

The Olympics are already underway, but Nike Sportswear ekes in one last special sneaker release for the summer games with this new colorway for the Air Max BW Ultra. Inspired by the original “USA” Air Max BW which also dropped again this summer, the modified Ultra construction of the classic runner features a flip of the red, white, blue, and gold color combination for a primarily white upper. If you just can’t get enough of Nike’s Olympics-inspired sneakers in 2016, you can pick the Air Max BW Ultra “USA” up now at select Nike Sportswear suppliers.
