Air Max Day 2017 is almost here! We’ll be treated to a number of awesome releases this Sunday, March 26th in honor of the special Nike-themed celebration, but Stadium Goods already has the jump on the festive day with a countdown of their all-time Air Max grails. The list is pretty Nike Air Max 1 heavy, but you’ll also find the likes of the Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Max 95, and even a Nike Air Max 97 thrown into the mix. Check out the full countdown via Stadium Goods Journal. How many different renditions of the Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” are out there? We’ve seen the iconic colorway modernized with Hyperfuse, Engineered Mesh, Ultra outsoles, and now the legendary aesthetic will return with the introduction of the Nike Air Max 90 Flyknit on March 3rd, 2017 at select international shops. That won’t be the only OG colorway that Nike Sportswear is bringing back in a new woven construction either, as a women’s Concord and Laser Pink rendition will also be available in early March.
The Nike Air Max 90 Flyknit Infrared benefits from a unique woven pattern that still represents the original panels of Tinker Hatfield’s running icon through a unique color-blocking that sees Wolf Grey, White, and Black shades cluster together to differentiate the lines and contours of the OG. Of course, the pair wouldn’t be complete without the signature shade of Infrared on the new slimmed-down heel and outsole unit. What do you think of the coming Air Max 90 Flyknit Infrared? The latest evolution of the iconic Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” will release this Friday, July 29th. Known as the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra SE, the numerous panels of the 1990 classic have since evolved into this seamless neoprene-like mesh construction for a simplified albeit effective homage to one of the most recognizable colorways to ever land on a Nike branded running model. The vibrant Infrared touches can be found on the lining and midsole while an off-white Sail adds a vintage effect to this freshly minted Air Max 90 variation. What do you think of the latest incarnation of the Infrared AM90? Check out more photos after the break and stay tuned for more release date updates right here on Sneaker News.
